Direct Radiography (DR):
In a direct radiographic system once the image is taken, the image is sent
directly to your PC and is ready for immediate viewing. This is the most cutting
edge technology on today’s market, producing an image in seconds with
exceptional image quality. The superior speed of the system substantially
expedites the diagnostic process. The digital receptor has and excellent dynamic
range, producing over 16,000 shades of gray that allows discovery of pathology
that may not be seen on film systems.
Quantum’s TechVision is truly an innovation for the operator, who can now easily
set up all technique parameters right at tableside. With the LCD Touch Screen
Display an image preview is displayed on the screen within 5 seconds greatly
improving throughput.
The Mountain X-Ray digital package will be designed specifically for your practice needs including everything you will need for a complete digital x-ray system. All of our software packages interface seamlessly with compatible practice management software. We offer many different viewing station software packages, so every part of the package fits your needs. We optimize every part of the package resulting in all of the benefits of digital imaging. Computed Radiography (CR)
In a computed radiographic system (CR) the film cassette is replaced with a digital cassette, making this the perfect upgrade for any existing x-ray machine. The digital cassette is placed into a digital reader, reading the cassette and then erasing it for the next shot.
The Agfa CR30 has one of the highest resolutions on the market. The CR30 is a true 400 speed x-ray system, making the radiation output minimal while producing amazing image quality. The CR30 package includes MUSICA, Agfa’s multi-scale image processing software. MUSICA uses patented contrast equalization algorithms to automatically process the image. The result is enhanced visualization for both bone and soft tissue. The CR30 is an automatic CR system, meaning it processes the cassette automatically, reads it and erases itself. This is all being done while the next shot is being taken, increasing throughput and efficiency.
